We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join Appliances 4 Less - an appliance store. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with appliance selections, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find what they need. Bilingual in English and Spanish are a plus to serve our diverse clientele. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your sales and merchandising skills while contributing to the overall success of our store. Candidate with some degree of knowledge in LG, G&E, Samsung and Whirlpool appliances are preferred but not required.
Duties
- barcode printing, unpackaging, inspection, inventory audits, advertising & marketing (listing products online), customer service, sales invoicing, financial, reconciliation, after-sales service, cleaning.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
- Operate ERP systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges (we provide on-site training)
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Upsell complementary products & services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by arranging displays and signage
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly labeled
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stockroom organization
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist with supervising team members when needed and support a collaborative store environment
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies is a plus
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team
- Bilingual a plus but not necessary
- Appliances Sales experience a plus but not necessary
