ReStore Cashier (Part-Time)

Location: San Marcos, TX

Schedule: Monday-Friday, approx. 20-25 hours/week

Pay: $16.50/hour

Austin Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that supports affordable housing across Central Texas. As a ReStore Cashier, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, helps them find what they need, and keeps the store looking great. If you love helping people, enjoy a fast-paced retail environment, and want to be part of a mission-driven team, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service at the register and on the sales floor
Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Answer customer questions and help locate merchandise
Restock and merchandise items to keep the store organized and inviting
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including light cleaning duties
Assist with donation receipts and occasional donor/customer interactions
Support teammates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

Retail or customer service experience preferred
Comfortable handling cash and using a register
Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
Passion for Austin Habitat's mission and values
Available to work weekdays (Monday-Friday)
