Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in partnership with CHRISTUS Children’s, is expanding Maternal-Fetal Medicine services and seeks a full-time MFM physician to join its growing outreach clinic on the campus of CHRISTUS San Marcos..

About Baylor College of Medicine & CHRISTUS Children’s

Through the partnership between Baylor College of Medicine and CHRISTUS Health, CHRISTUS Children’s is the first and only freestanding, academic, not-for-profit women’s and children’s hospital in San Antonio, serving as a focal point for maternal and pediatric services throughout the community and South Texas.

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Section includes

  • 7 board-certified MFM physicians
  • 4 Advanced Practice Providers
  • 12 perinatal sonographers
  • 4 genetic counselors

The Section provides care across five outpatient sites and supports inpatient services at three hospitals, with responsibilities that may include outpatient and inpatient care, resident and fellow education, and—depending on candidate interests and goals—clinical research supported in part by and in partnership with The Voelcker Clinical Research Center.

Candidate Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD
  • Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board eligible or board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
  • Academic appointment and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience
