A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide essential speech therapy services within a K-12 school setting in San Antonio, TX. These positions will support students across multiple grade levels, serving both elementary and high school populations. One full-time (37.5 hours / week) and one part-time (20 hours / week) role are open, designed to cover caseloads split between different schools. This opportunity is a maternity leave contract position lasting from March 31, 2026, to May 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment and evaluation of speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students speech and language competencies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district policies and professional standards.
- Provide therapy services for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, adjusting strategies based on age and ability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred; candidates with 0-10+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage caseloads across elementary and high school levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on student development.
Location : San Antonio, Texas (on-site presence required).
