About the Job

About who needs care: My dad was diagnosed with frontal temporal lobe dementia, and is losing his ability to make decisions for himself. He's physically active and seems to be taking care of his personal hygiene and home fine. However, he's experience frequent confusion, erratic behavior, and attempting to travel to meet women he meets online. He cant drive and he is attempting to buy a vehicle.

My dad likes to drive to go see various places, he likes restaurants, wineries/breweries, loves to read, and having an adult beverage on his back porch watching the deer. An ideal caregiver would be able to assist him with meals, transportation for travel and errands, and a companion to keep him company.

About the care needs: He prefers a female caregiver. It would be ideal to have someone who is familiar with dementia patients.

Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
