As part of the Retail Experience and Specialized Relationships organization, the Business Accommodation Team drives client retention and acquisition through seamless business acceptance functions, complex problem solving, and continuous process improvement in our retail business. The SPWS Custom Reporting Team plays a vital role in supporting the adoption and customization of leading consolidated reporting software and handling other ad hoc reporting requests for Ultra High Net Worth clients. The SPWS Custom Reporting Specialist will be an Addepar expert, engaging directly with UHNW clients to understand their personalized needs and create tailored solutions.

In this individual contributor role within the SPWS Custom Reporting Team, you will report to the Director, Business Accommodations.

What you'll do

  • Work directly with Ultra High Net Worth clients to identify, explore, and create reporting opportunities using both in-house and third-party solutions.
  • Act as the in-house expert on the Addepar reporting tool, collaborating with internal teams and Financial Consultants.
  • Support the custom reporting team in building, maintaining, and evolving reports for clients while creating and managing reporting templates.
  • Identify and investigate solutions to meet the needs of affluent clients.
  • Look for opportunities to modify existing processes to improve the management of escalations.
  • Provide support for acquiring new complex accounts and take part in the Know Your Client review during the onboarding process.
  • Document client needs, assess necessary modifications to existing processes, and lead those changes.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective solutions, promote the Schwab Challenger Brand, and enhance employee engagement.
  • Develop recommendations and a business case to support those changes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information, develop recommendations, and present to senior management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and excel in situations with ambiguity.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and efficiency in meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A curious mindset, “can-do” attitude, and the ability to learn swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of partners.
  • Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years of experience serving UHNW client segments.
  • 7+ years of experience in the brokerage or financial services industry required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Schwab internal systems and tools including Salesforce, Workfront, Specialized Proposal Tool, and more.
  • Preferred experience with industry-specific licenses/designations (e.g., CPIM, CFA, CFP).
