W/WW Heavy Equipment Operator II

Job Summary

This Heavy Equipment Operator II coordinates, performs, and assists in supervising the maintenance and construction of water/wastewater systems and related equipment.

• Maintains chemical sites for grease control and installs/maintains flow and level monitoring equipment.
• Utilizes GPS technology to record and update the location of water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
• Conducts inspections of wastewater mains, services, and manholes using closed-circuit televising equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Water/wastewater maintenance experience preferred.
• Class II Wastewater Collection and Class C Water Distribution certifications required within two years.
