Automotive Glass Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive glass components. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in the automotive industry, particularly with auto glass installation and repair. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
• Perform repairs on damaged glass using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for glass installation and repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess glass damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns regarding glass services.
• Assist in detailing vehicles as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, including advancements in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive glass installation or repair is preferred.
• Dealership experience is a plus, providing familiarity with various vehicle makes and models.
• Knowledge of ADAS systems is beneficial for modern vehicle servicing.
• Proficiency in window tinting techniques is desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices and auto body repair processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations.
• Experience in automotive repair or mechanic roles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
