Customer Experience Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the products they need. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling techniques and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience.
• Utilize strong communication skills to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as required.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Familiarity with grocery store environments is a plus but not essential.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as it enhances communication with diverse customer groups.
• Ability to perform product demos and explain product features confidently to customers.
