Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents based on dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines consistently.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent customer service.
• Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push and pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and remain active for extended periods.
• Must be capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products is essential.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State / County law.
• Residency within the service area preferred.
