Installation Technician

🚨 We're Hiring: Cable Installation Technician (Contract Role)

📍 Location: San Marcos, TX 78666

📅 Start Date: November 10th

⏳ Duration: 3-Month Contract (with potential extensions if open to travel: Austin, Dallas, etc.)

💵 Rate: $18–$28/hour

Insight Global's client is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to support a high-impact internet installation project at an apartment complex in San Marcos, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to grow in the telecom space.

🔧 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install outdoor enclosures and run conduit to attics
• Pull and terminate Ethernet cables
• Perform punch-downs on panels and pull fiber
• Install routers in individual units
• Follow project details and to-dos via Base Camp PM tool
• Work under the direction of the Project Manager

🌟 Nice to Have

• Telecom industry experience
• 6–12 months of cable installation experience
• Retrofit experience
