JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Sales Lead will partner in running the store’s operations, mentoring associates, and reaching store and individual sales targets as well as performance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieving store and personal sales targets and performance standards
  • Assisting in the mentoring and development of an effective sales team
  • Offering feedback, coaching, and accountability to all staff by enforcing all company policies and protocols
  • Undertaking all opening and closing duties as per company policy
  • Supervising and managing all daily operations in the absence of store management
  • Overseeing all Loss Prevention protocols when store management is not available
  • Effectively communicating all store needs to store management
  • Completing bank deposits
  • Accomplishing all tasks and responsibilities on time
  • Completing all requisite training
  • Delivering a fun, full-service experience to all clients
  • Effectively solving customer issues
  • Understanding and demonstrating the Journeys culture to the team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Solid interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Readiness to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Completion of all preparatory sales lead training or similar experience
  • Flexibility to work during nights and weekends
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift weights up to 50 pounds
  • Stamina to stand for long durations
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • The minimum age requirement for part-time employment may vary by state
