Teacher Position Overview

As a Teacher, we will

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include

Implementing our curriculum to address each child’s unique needs
Creating a secure, caring space for both play and learning
Collaborating with parents to deliver high-quality care and education
Working with fellow staff members and leaders to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
Building strong bonds with families, colleagues, regulatory representatives, and community partners

Required Qualifications and Competencies

Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle a variety of situations
Willingness to meet all job qualifications or obtain them as needed
Certification in CPR and First Aid, or willingness to become certified
Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and participate in both indoor and outdoor activities
Ability to interact at the child’s level, keep a safe environment, and join in daily activities
Proficiency in English for communication with children and families

Compensation

Starting hourly wage is $17.20. Additional earning opportunities may be available through grants or other considerations.
