Teacher Position Overview

As a Teacher, we will

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include

  • Implementing our curriculum to address each child’s unique needs
  • Creating a secure, caring space for both play and learning
  • Collaborating with parents to deliver high-quality care and education
  • Working with fellow staff members and leaders to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
  • Building strong bonds with families, colleagues, regulatory representatives, and community partners

Required Qualifications and Competencies

  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle a variety of situations
  • Willingness to meet all job qualifications or obtain them as needed
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid, or willingness to become certified
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and participate in both indoor and outdoor activities
  • Ability to interact at the child’s level, keep a safe environment, and join in daily activities
  • Proficiency in English for communication with children and families

Compensation

Starting hourly wage is $17.20. Additional earning opportunities may be available through grants or other considerations.
