Role and Responsibilities

As a Store Cashier, you will deliver efficient, friendly, and professional checkout services that demonstrate Lowe's commitment to customer satisfaction. In addition to processing sales, you may assist with maintaining store appearance, support various departments, and respond to customer needs throughout the store.

• Provide quick, friendly, and professional checkout assistance.
• Assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Accurately scan, bag, and process purchased items.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process exchanges.
• Respond to customer inquiries and offer support as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized checkout area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Experience with computers for data entry and retrieving information.
• Capability to lift at least 10 lbs unassisted or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Meet any state-required sales-related licensure or registration requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Bilingual communication skills.
