Packaging & Labeling Warehouse Associate / Label Rewinder

Job Summary
Mack Pac Branding, Inc., a leader in California label manufacturing, is seeking a meticulous and high-energy Rewinder Operator to join our production team. This role is critical to our final stage of production, ensuring that every pressure-sensitive label we ship meets our rigorous standards for excellence.
We are looking for an individual who thrives under tight deadlines and can multi-task without sacrificing quality. In our fast-paced environment, your ability to learn quickly and pivot between tasks is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Efficiently operate a Rewinder machine to finish label rolls according to customer specifications and industry standards.
- Quality Control & Documentation: Identify printing or material defects during the rewinding process. Accurately complete QC paperwork and maintain traceability logs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Material Handling: Manage the physical movement of materials, including loading and unloading rolls and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with press operators and supervisors to resolve quality issues promptly and maintain a seamless production flow.
- Process Improvement: Actively contribute ideas to enhance shop efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and champion our mission of delivering exceptional craftsmanship to every customer.
Qualifications
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for identifying minor defects and ensuring 100% accuracy in finished goods.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling material rolls.
- Basic Arithmetic: Proficiency in basic math for measuring, counting, and calculating roll quantities.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to learn new machinery quickly and adjust to changing production priorities.
- Experience: No prior experience is required; we are willing to train candidates who possess the right work ethic and attitude.
