POSITION SUMMARY

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Banquet Kitchen Prep Specialist! In this role, you will:

Prepare and organize ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Handle fresh produce by washing and peeling fruits and vegetables.
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients to perfection.
Create and cook delicious meals according to our strict recipes and quality standards.
Prepare cold foods and operate various kitchen equipment, such as ovens and grills.
Test food items to ensure they are cooked to the right standards and monitor food quality during preparation.
Set up and break down workstation efficiently.
Serve food in proper portions and containers while maintaining cleanliness.
Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment regularly.
Check and maintain correct temperature levels for cooking appliances and food storage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience: At least 1 year in a related kitchen role.
Supervisory Experience: None required.
Certification: None necessary.
