Noveon Magnetics is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join its Production Team& and assist our rapidly growing company and logistic activities at large. This position is& responsible for receiving and maintaining accountability of inventory for a variety of supplies& relevant to crucial operations at Noveon as well as managing the shipping of finished& products to customers. The Inventory Clerk will work cross-functionally with many teams to& facilitate and ensure we have what we need and that our customer orders reach their& destination in an efficient and timely manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Processing incoming product orders, including receiving deliveries, properly accounting& for the location of incoming goods in the Noveon dashboard, and notifying the& appropriate

personnel.

  • Tracking and keeping an accurate count of items on hand and utilizing these numbers to& help create part lists to be used for product traceability.
  • Comparing packing lists to purchase orders and validating that the products in each& delivery match the packing list.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Updating the Noveon dashboard as products are received, added to the inventory, and& distributed throughout the facility in a timely manner.
  • Performing additional duties necessitated by the job or as requested by the Inventory& Manager, such as assisting with employee training and monitoring the status.
  • Following established SOPs to ensure compliance with them.

We are Looking for Someone Who

  • Has a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED).
  • Possesses 1-3 years’ work experience in inventory control, preferably.
  • Has a forklift license (Current or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire).
  • Is familiar with lean manufacturing concepts such as 5S and Kaizen.
  • Can demonstrate proficiency in Excel.
  • Can communicate clearly and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Is able to work well in both independent and group settings.
  • Can display knowledge of DOT regulations and is familiar with OSHA regulations.
  • Has a strong eye for safety.
  • Can read and comprehend instructions, procedures, and correspondence.
  • Can communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner with co-workers,& shareholders, suppliers, and other contacts.
  • Has the ability to seamlessly adapt to changing priorities. Has excellent organization& skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to move up to 50lbs.
  • Possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
  • Can wear PPE.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Is capable of making repetitive movements, including, but not limited to, sitting,& squatting, and walking up and down stairs.
