Maintenance Technician

North County bakery is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation and safety of our facilities and manufacturing equipment, while adhering to food-safe guidelines.

Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct minor welding repairs and fabrications as needed.
• Maintain records using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance history.
• Assist with facility upgrades, including minor electrical, plumbing, drywall, etc.
• Assist contractors during complex repairs or projects.

Requirements

• Experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Electrical experience including reading schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters.
• Skilled in welding techniques with the ability to fabricate or repair metal components.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical diagrams accurately.
• Communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
• Customer service mindset to address internal requests promptly and professionally

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
