Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and support personnel to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
  • Plan menus in collaboration with culinary leadership, incorporating dietary restrictions and customer preferences
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen activities
  • Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional food experiences
  • Oversee shift management, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor staff performance to foster a motivated team environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and service management
  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Extensive banquet experience and familiarity with catering operations
  • Knowledge of dietary department standards and food handling procedures
  • Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen organization
  • Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality management is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and certifications required by local health authorities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations
