Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Gym Front Desk Representative to embody our core values and provide a superior experience for members, guests, and prospective members. As the first point of contact at our club, you will help maintain the positive and supportive environment that Planet Fitness is known for. Responsibilities include:

• Greet members, guests, and prospective members with a friendly and professional attitude
• Manage front desk operations, including answering calls, checking in members, registering new members, and providing tours of the club
• Keep member accounts updated and accurate
• Respond promptly to member questions and concerns, escalating issues when needed
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming club environment

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer literacy
• Passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
• Friendly, approachable, and energetic personality
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on exceeding expectations
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional communication and conduct at all times

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking during the shift
• Frequent verbal communication in person or on the phone
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Periodic exposure to cleaning chemicals
