Role and Responsibilities

The Overnight Lead (Member Services Representative) is responsible for creating a positive member experience by delivering exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. This role also involves traveling to different Planet Fitness locations to assist with overnight shift duties and supporting other overnight team members.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests with professionalism and friendliness.
• Handle all front desk operations including answering phones, assisting callers, checking members in, and processing new member sign-ups.
• Provide tours of the facility to prospective members and explain membership options.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts and process payments.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly, escalating to management as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the club.
• Travel to different locations and assist with overnight shift responsibilities.
• Communicate with management regarding work locations and daily agendas.
• Train and assist other overnight team members.

Required Skills and Experience

• Customer service background preferred.
• Overnight shift experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management on a daily basis.
• Reliable transportation to travel between Planet Fitness locations.
• A passion for fitness and health with an upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability required.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to exceed member expectations.
• Strong listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work overnight (3rd shift).
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals during shift.

• Hourly pay: $14.00 – $15.00.
