Speech-Language Pathologist in San Marcos, TX

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position serving K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in San Marcos, TX. The role is a leave contract beginning January 7, 2026, through May 22, 2026, working five days per week for 37.5 hours. The caseload includes approximately 44 students, allowing the SLP to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) credentials/certifications
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience working in school settings with K-12 age groups highly valued

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students on caseload
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation related to student assessments and therapy sessions
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary
