Role and Responsibilities

As a Meat Produce Team Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations of the Meat and Produce team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. You will lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining an organized and safe work environment.

  • Supervise and lead the Meat and Produce team to meet daily operational goals.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation, product freshness, and accurate ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies.
  • Coach and mentor team members, providing performance feedback and training opportunities.
  • Monitor team productivity, workflow, and sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve operational issues efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate store initiatives and enhance member experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in retail, food service, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of meat and produce handling, preparation, and display standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising a team in a retail or grocery setting.
  • Certifications in food safety or meat handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management software, or other operational tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
