Shop Foreman

San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Ram Jeep is seeking an experienced, dedicated and technical-focused Shop Foreman to lead our team of technicians. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient workshop. You will act as a liaison between the Service Manager, Service Advisors and Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch work orders to technicians based on skill level and efficiency, ensuring optimal shop flow and meeting deadlines.
• Provide hands-on assistance with complex diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and difficult repairs.
• Monitor shop performance and implement strategies for improvement
• Enforce all safety policies (OSHA) and ensure the shop remains clean and organized.
• Interact with customers to address any concerns and maintain satisfaction
• Oversee inventory, order supplies, and maintain shop equipment
• Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate status updates to customers and support the parts department on inventory needs.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of prior experience in automotive repair and leadership roles
• 2+ Years Stellantis technician experience
• Advanced diagnostics capability (specifically electrical and computerized systems).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team effectively
• Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (Dealertrack, Dealerconnect preferred)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Must have a clean driving record and valid DL.
• Must be willing to complete a background check and possible drug test
