Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Telemetry nursing
  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients requiring cardiac telemetry
  • Monitor vital signs and continuously interpret telemetry readings
  • Promptly identify and respond to cardiac irregularities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient care
  • Administer medications and interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac care and recovery processes
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
