CUSTODIAL (OVERNIGHT) (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CUSTODIAL (OVERNIGHT) positions.

Location

Texas State University - 601 University Drive, San Marcos, TX 78666. Openings at other locations within the school district are available. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule

• Full-time:

Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am.

• Part-time:

Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 pm to 2:30 am.

Requirements

• Prior custodial experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Fixed pay rate: $12.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Takes initiative to identify and complete areas requiring cleaning; completes tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
