Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by adhering to established service criteria
• Extend a friendly and authentic greeting to guests as they arrive
• Swiftly determine the requirements of guests and tailor your approach accordingly
• Assist customers by sharing insights on product features and offering solutions to their inquiries
• Guarantee accurate and efficient completion of scanning, bagging, and payment transactions
• Ensure your work area is neat and orderly at all times
• Notify customers about special deals, fresh launches, and upcoming store events
• Urge guests to join loyalty initiatives and to explore the option of obtaining store credit cards
• Offer assistance to consumers in utilizing digital tools efficiently, such as the store app and online services
• Adhere to store policies when processing returns to maintain guest approval
• Enhance the speed and accuracy of order pickups, drive-up services, and gift registry transactions
• Assist in managing and resolving guest complaints while maintaining adherence to store guidelines
• Maintain adherence to federal, state, and local laws for regulated products
• Provide support for overall store functions as necessary in response to business requirements

Job Requirements

• Proficiently handling cash transactions and accurately operating the register
• Proficiency in carrying out assignments outdoors amidst diverse weather circumstances
• Repetitively lifting and moving items up to 15 lbs, with occasional lifting tasks involving items up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
