Description
We're seeking a dynamic
Executive Communications Manager & Speechwriter
to craft compelling, high-impact communications for a senior executive leader.
This position calls for a masterful storyteller who can bring authenticity, precision, and emotional intelligence to every message, transforming strategic priorities into narratives that resonate across audiences.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Strategic Communications (40%)
- Research, write, and edit speeches, remarks, video scripts, and executive correspondence.
- Develop consistent messaging that reflects organizational voice, mission, and values.
- Prepare remarks and presentations for major events, leadership summits, and key stakeholder engagements.
Content Development & Editorial Support (30%)
- Collaborate across departments to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment in all executive messaging.
- Draft thought leadership articles, op-eds, and public statements for internal and external audiences.
- Support digital content creation, podcast briefings, and multimedia storytelling initiatives.
Issues & Reputation Management (15%)
- Handle sensitive communications with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Contribute to crisis planning and rapid-response messaging when necessary.
- Advise senior leadership on tone, timing, and message strategy for critical moments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)
- Partner with internal teams to gather insights, stories, and achievements that inform executive messaging.
- Contribute to long-term communication strategies and brand narrative development.
- Participate in special projects and high-visibility initiatives that shape organizational reputation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
communications, journalism, English, public relations
, or a related field.
- Minimum
5 years of professional writing or executive communications experience
, preferably supporting senior leaders or public figures.
- Exceptional
storytelling, writing, and editing skills
with proven ability to adapt voice and tone across platforms.
- Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing for
executives, government officials, or C-suite leaders

- Success in
speechwriting and narrative development
for both live and digital audiences.
- Background in
public affairs, corporate communications, or mission-driven organizations
