Ensures adherence to operational procedures, merchandise standards, and security protocols. Potential for cross-training across different store areas to provide comprehensive business support.

Responsibilities of Merchandise Stock Associate

• Role models embodied top-tier customer experience strategies with both internal and external customers.
• Establishes and embodies a positive store ethos by prioritizing honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Carries out customer transactions with precision, including providing accurate change based on established procedures.
• Champions credit and loyalty program promotion.
• Upholds the merchandising philosophy and complies with the prescribed procedures and criteria.
• Carefully follows the company's protocols and standards for preparing products to be placed on the sales floor.
• Commences and participates in store refurbishment as needed throughout the day.
• Participates in maintaining the sales floor by upholding organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards, contributing to the overall store maintenance.
• Accepts and values recognition and constructive input.
• Ensures compliance with all labor policies, laws, and regulations.
• Endorses and joins efforts to minimize losses related to inventory shrink within the store.
• Engages in activities that raise safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications of Merchandise Stock Associate

• Possesses excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Works effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.
