Pay: $24/hr + $1/hr shift differential

Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

Overview

The Welders are responsible for welding and/or fitting of variety of equipment and product used by customers throughout North America.

Primary Duties

Safety

• Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.
• Follow all tag-out and lock out procedures.
• Identify and correct situations that could jeopardize safety.
• Maintain a clean, tidy workstation.
• Report immediately all unsafe conditions or hazards to the appropriate person.
• Stop work, or cause work to be stopped, in situations of imminent danger.
• Work in a way that won’t hurt you or other people.

Quality

• Alert Weld Shop Supervisor to issues with product quality.
• Complete QC checklists to verify the quality of the product manufactured meets standards.
• Ensure parts are free of visible damage.

Productivity

• Gather parts, tools, and fixtures.
• Maintain and repair equipment.
• Review traveler/job package.
• Set up jigs.
• Review traveler/job package.
• Review drawings.
• Find and use proper material.
• Must set-up and maintain equipment.
• General welding on rotators.
• Use of overhead crane may also require unloading trucks.
• Record all scrap material.
• Prep work on pipes.
• Any other work task given to you by your supervisor
